Qiwi wallet limits

2016-06-05 00:00:00

Payment systems have become a real salvation for millions of Internet users. Thanks to their functionality, new opportunities have opened up for making transfers, making payments for goods and services, carrying out exchange operations or simply storing funds. At the same time, one of the leading roles in Russia is occupied by the Qiwi payment system, which occupies a leading position in terms of the annual volume of payments on the Russian Internet network. The only difficulty for many users is the Qiwi wallet limits. What are the features of the system? In what cases is identification necessary, and what does it give? What are the Qiwi limits?

The essence of the Qiwi payment system

The Qiwi payment system is a well-known company in Russia and the world, famous for its services in the field of payments through electronic networks. Customers have access to different means of payment - prepaid cards, as well as other options for non-cash payments when paying for goods issued via the Internet or in offline stores. Electronic and cash settlements are one network under common management. As in other systems, there is an identification system on which the Qiwi payment limit depends. In addition, when making transactions, you should be aware of the existence of Qiwi transfer limits.

The emergence of the payment system has opened up a lot of opportunities for users - paying off loan debts, making payments for mobile communications, making payments for utilities and buying tickets. The advanced service of the payment system provides the ability to make payments through the global network, special terminals or through special applications. In addition, users can set deadlines for deferred payments and receive information about payments in the future.

The payment system has sufficient experience to guarantee comfort and a high level of security for users. The beginning of work falls on 2007. From the first days of its appearance, the service has been steadily developing, growing and providing new opportunities for users. Since April 2016, the system has implemented a unique Blockchain technology. In addition, it is planned to create its own cryptocurrency - "Bitruble".

Qiwi system capabilities

The uniqueness of the service lies in the wide network of terminals located in many cities of Russia. Through them, you can conduct transactions, pay off debts, pay fines, and so on. In addition, users of the system can get plastic and virtual cards that open access to payment for services and goods in ordinary stores or through the global network.

In addition to Russia, the Qiwi payment service operates in seven more countries, including Brazil, Romania, Belarus, Moldova, the United States and others. Since the beginning of 2009, the functionality of the system has been expanded - an opportunity has opened up for repaying loans, purchasing tickets through the global network. In addition, the option of paying for the services of tour operators, making donations, buying virtual Visa cards and so on has become available.

Qiwi limits - pros and cons

The long-term work of the payment system in the market allowed identifying all the strengths and weaknesses of Qiwi. In short, the pluses of the system include:

- Ability to use a mobile phone to make payments.

- No commission fees for withdrawing funds, paying for services and goods.

- Reliable protection of transactions carried out on the network, as well as funds in the users wallet.

- Access to the wallet from various devices, including a smartphone, telephone, communicator and others.

- Ease of use.

There are also disadvantages:

- Existing Qiwi wallet limits do not allow transactions for large amounts;

- The need for identification. Gradually, the payment system is no longer private. To get all the capabilities of the system, the user must enter and confirm personal information. In this case, Qiwi limits are increased and access to previously unavailable services is opened;

- Large commissions for withdrawing funds. The absence of commissions when withdrawing money from the system is "compensated" by a large commission when withdrawing money from the system;

- Lack of lending opportunities (for example, in the WebMoney system, this option is provided);

- Failure to implement the protection of the transaction;

- The presence of Qiwi-limits on transfers, which limits the possibilities of users.

Identification in the system and valid Qiwi-limits

For many newbies, the Qiwi payment limit comes as an unpleasant surprise. But such restrictions are not a whim of the system - the limits are set at the legislative level. To get all the features, the user must be identified.

After passing the identification, restrictions are removed, and a number of additional functions are provided. Among them, an increased limit on payments and transfers, an increase in the limit on the balance of money that can be on the users account, the ability to conduct transactions on a card or bank account, as well as transactions on accounts of other systems. In addition, the passage of identification opens the way for making purchases at Internet points abroad. Unauthenticated users face a number of restrictions.

System users can have three statuses, the capabilities of which differ:

  1. Minimum. This status is assigned to customers who have just registered in the system. No identification is required to obtain the title "Minimum". The following Qiwi wallet limits exist here:

- On the users balance there can be an amount not exceeding 15 thousand rubles;

- The limit of monthly payments is also limited to 40 thousand rubles;

- Well have to put up with withdrawal restrictions. In particular, the daily limit is 5 thousand rubles, and the monthly limit is 40 thousand.

The advantage of this option is complete privacy. All that is required is to go through the registration procedure. The downside is the presence of Qiwi limits, which limit the possibilities and allow you to use only small amounts when making transactions on the network.

  1. Standard is a more advanced status that is provided to users after passing the simplified version of identification. Unlike the "Minimum" option, the Qiwi payment limit is higher here. In particular, the minimum balance requirement is 60 thousand rubles. As for the monthly rate, it has been increased to 200 thousand. The main disadvantage is that the daily and monthly limits for withdrawing money from the system remained unchanged (5 and 40 thousand rubles, respectively). So the design of the standard does not give any special privileges.
  2. Maximum - the highest status of the client, implying full identification. In this case, the opportunities increase significantly. In particular, the limit on the balance is 600 thousand rubles. In addition, there are no Qiwi transfer limits. With regard to cash withdrawals, a number of restrictions remain. In particular, it is allowed to withdraw no more than 60 thousand rubles per month.

As for the identification itself, the process is not complicated and there are two options here:

  1. Simplified identification can be done remotely or in person. The first option is available only to residents of the Russian Federation. You can perform all the manipulations through the payment system website or the Qiwi call center. Of the papers, the details of the document will be required, which confirms the identity, full name, telephone number, SNILS, TIN and others. The full-time option is available to individuals who are non-residents of the country. Registration is carried out at the offices of Qiwi Bank or at the points of the Contact system. From the information it is necessary to provide the full name and personal document (translation by a notary is required).
  2. Complete identification is more difficult. You can go through the process in the customer reception centers of Leto Bank, in the offices of the system, in Euroset stores, in partner offices and so on. From the information, you need the data of your full name, citizenship, personal document, TIN, registration (residence) address, wallet number and others. If a non-resident of the country undergoes the procedure, then, among other things, a residence permit, a migration card or an address of residence may be required. The procedure itself is simple - contacting the authorized bodies, transferring the necessary documents and waiting for confirmation.
